We obtain this data either directly from you or from other sources, such as other individuals in your company, business partners, and publicly available sources (e.g., social networks like LinkedIn).
4. For What Purposes and on What Basis Do We Process Your Personal Data?
We process your personal data:
(dd) To prepare, conclude, fulfill, and enforce contracts in our business activities. This includes contracts with:

(ff) To comply with legal obligations (e.g., retention obligations for business records).
Additionally, we process your personal data, where legally permitted, based on our legitimate interests, which include communicating with you and third parties (also outside the preparation or conclusion of a contract), providing the website and Software and optimizing user experience, maintaining and expanding our business relationships, improving, expanding, and marketing our offerings, ensuring data security and privacy, preventing crimes and other misconduct, and asserting, defending, or contesting legal claims.

We also transfer personal data abroad, particularly by using IT service providers with data locations within and outside the EU/EEA. We limit transfers of personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA as much as possible, but they cannot be completely avoided. If the respective countries do not have an adequate level of data protection recognized by Switzerland or the EU, we generally use standard contractual clauses to ensure appropriate protection, supplemented with additional security measures where necessary and feasible.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

To exercise your rights, please contact us via email at datenschutz@emonitor.ch.
In cases where we act as a data processor, we will forward your request to the data controller.
